According to the Ghana Health Service, all the five cases were reported from the Greater Accra Region, however, three out of the five patients have no travel history.
All examples were confirmed positive in the laboratory facility.

The primary case is a 29-year-old Ghanaian woman who lives in Accra. she has no history of travelings.
The subsequent case is a 34-year-old Ghanaian woman who is an inhabitant of Accra who came into contact with patient of the disease at her work environment.
The thirds case is a 53-year-old Ghanaian male who is an inhabitant of Tema with no history of travelings and no proof of close contact with any patient of the disease.
The fourth case is a 41-year-old Ghanaian male who arrived in Ghana by KLM on 15th March 2020. He came into contact with family members in Amsterdam who have respiratory symptoms and also on the flight with some passengers sneezing and coughing.
The last case is a 36-year-old Ghanaian male from Paris, France. The date of his appearance in Ghana is unverified. There is no proof of contact with a contaminated individual.
