Manure pirating is hampering the public authority’s Fertilizer Subsidy Program (FSP) for smallholder ranchers and the Planting for Food and Jobs (PFJ) program.
This was the finding in a 2020 Monitoring of Fertilizers report by the Peasant Farmers Association of Ghana (PFAG) including 2,675 ranchers.
The ranchers were drawn from five locale (Hohoe, Shai Osudoku, West Mamprusi, Mamprugu-Moagduri, Pusiga and Sisala East) and their perspectives on the ideal conveyance of composts, value, its accessibility and openness.
