Derek Chauvin, Police Officer Accused in George Floyd’s Death, Charged With Murder

The Officer who was seen squeezing his knee-profound into George Floyd’s neck, Derek Chauvin has quite recently been captured and accused of homicide.

Police were attempting to put Floyd in a crew vehicle Monday when he hardened and tumbled to the ground, saying he was claustrophobic. Chauvin and Officer Tou Thoa showed up and attempted a few times to get the battling Floyd into the vehicle.

Chauvin in the long run pulled Floyd out of the vehicle, and the bound Floyd went to the ground facedown. Official J.K. Kueng held Floyd’s back and Officer Thomas Lane held his legs while Chauvin put his knee on Floyd’s head and neck zone, the objection said.

Chauvin, who was fired along with three other officers who were at the scene, faces more than 12 years in prison if convicted of murder.
