Coronavirus: Cameroon Confirms First Case

Since the coronavirus flare-up started in the focal Chinese city of Wuhan in December, it has tainted very nearly 100,000 individuals worldwide and executed more than 3,000, for the most part in China.

According to sources, Cameroon’s wellbeing ministry earlier today confirmed its first instance of coronavirus, a 58-year-old French resident who showed up in the capital Yaounde on 24 February.

It said the man has been isolated in the city’s Central Hospital. “All measures have been taken by the government to contain potential risks of the virus spreading,” as indicated in a statement.

Cameroon, which is in the Central part of Africa, is the fourth sub-Saharan nation to report coronavirus after Nigeria, Senegal and South Africa. The complete number of cases on the mainland is 29.
